In early November 2021 some people got together in a room in Sutton Courtenay, England, a small village famous for being the resting place of George Orwell and also where Asquith signed the declaration that took Britain into the First World War.
We played four chords for four hours while the singer sat on the floor curled up in a ball listening.
After 4 hours she stood up, we played the four chords again and she sang. ... and we were a band.
Now we have a few more songs and we are ready to play them to other people.
What should we call ourselves?
Well, the singer said, she had always wanted to be in a band called Santa Carla after the town in the Lost Boys film
We said okay then. The rest as they say ... is history ... apart from those bits yet to happen.
We are writing new material and will be playing some more gigs during 2026.
